How do I add a working lead form to my website so submissions become contacts?

Websites built in Votel can use a Votel form. When someone fills it out, a contact is created in your account. Pages built by the AI often include a placeholder form that does nothing, so replace it with a real one.

1. Go to Forms and create a form from a template, such as Contact us.
2. Match the button color to your site and edit the fields, for example keep only name, email and phone and remove the message box.
3. Publish the form.
4. In the website builder, delete the placeholder form, add a form element and choose your form.
5. Link each button on the page to the form (search for the form when setting the link), or to an anchor link on the page where the form sits.
6. Publish the website.

Each form has a setting for where to send people after they submit, for example a page where they can check availability or pick a date. That way you capture the lead first and still let them continue.

A form submission trigger can also start a workflow for the contacts who fill it out, such as an email sequence.
